  • That was painful to watch. The Indiana law, which requires that you provide an ID backed by a birth certificate, effectively removed voting from those who can't afford one or can't obtain one for any reason. My Illinois birth certificate cost $15 for a certified copy.

  • @Robert E Intriago: And you would only need to buy insurance if you are living and could theoretcially go to a doctor, just as you should only have to buy auto insurance if you have a car and could theoretically be in a crash.
